Beginning 8:00am Tuesday (6/17/25), all TACC systems will enter a maintenance period and be entirely unavailable. This will impact:
- All Production Systems, including Frontera, Lonestar 6, Stampede 3, and Vista
- Portal Functionality: account/allocation management, job submission, and applications (ex: Jupyter Notebooks) will be disabled across all portals (ex: DesignSafe, TAP)
- Account creation and modification via accounts.tacc.utexas.edu
- Allocation creation and modification
From Wednesday (6/18/25) through Thursday (6/19/25), certain systems and services will become available but the $WORK file system will still be under maintenance. In order to run jobs at TACC on Wednesday/Thursday you will need to:
- Copy any files, scripts, or other software necessary for your jobs over to $SCRATCH before 6/17/25
- Account and allocation services, jobs and apps via user portals, and Jupyter notebooks will remain unavailable during this time.
All systems and services will be available again on 6/20/25.
